Guided Tours at Windy Hill Apple Farm

Come and experience the fall harvest season in a developmentally appropriate tour given by Charlie and his crew. We can pick some apples, make some cider and talk about how to produce crisp and tasty apples with no chemical or pesticide residue. All ages but particularly K-6, preschools, day care centers, and home school groups can be scheduled weekdays during September and October. Advanced reservations required. Cost $4 per child with a bag of apples to take home. Accompanying adults are free.

We also welcome tours of any group. We have had groups of families interested in making fresh cider, a school bus load of a family gathering for a family reunion, Girl Scouts, and a group of college dorm mates looking for an ecological experience. Of course, we also have been part of the OEFFA Farm Tours that yield a group of folks interested in the operation of an orchard and/or a winery.
